A Wisconsin artist, Boppel exhibited throughout the US and the UK, A retrospective of his work, Todd Boppel: A Retrospective 1963-2000, was held at the Furlong Art Galleries at UW-Stout in 2002, and he had a Wisconsin Master Series exhibition at the Charles Allis Museum in 2004-2005.
