A Tole Box With Seven Antique Photographs.
Tole box with black, red and gold paint, hinged lid, top handle and black painted interior.
Together with a group of antique photographs comprising two tintypes, two ambrotypes and three daguerreotype portraits of men, women and children. All are set in framed cases; some are missing original covers.
Box measures H: 4 x W: 9 5/8 x D: 5 2/8 in.
Largest photograph in frame measures H: 3 3/4 x W:3 1/4 in.
All portraits with covers have separated from their covers. Wear and losses to frames. Tole box has wear, losses to paint all-over. Missing original key. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
