William Sommer (1867-1949) Marvin, Ink and watercolor on paper mounted on cardstock, Signed lower left. With original label. Framed dimensions: h: 22 1/4 x w: 18 1/4 in. H: 15 5/8 W: 11 5/8 in. Rejected in 1935 from the May Show. Exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Art 'William Sommer Memorial Exhibition,' 1950. Acquired directly from the artist by Arno Otto Bohme, a personal friend and neighbor.
