Differing from the original this painting has an abbreviated painted inscription on the left column which reads as:

et Filia Pr. Mari N. 4 1631.

It has a silhouette of a garden ornament on far left, a landscape upper right, and a pattern of window panes behind the children.


H: 60 W: 70 1/2 in. Relined canvas, repairs to puncture in upper background above figures; losses to pigment due to aggressive cleaning.
