American Revolution Connecticut Pay Order, 1783
Promissory note dated June 4th 1783.for four pounds issued to the Windham Company The Suppliers by the State of Connecticut Pay-Table Office, to help finance the Revolutionary War.
This note was signed by committee members Fenn Wadsworth, William Moseley, and countersigned by Sam [Samuel] Wyllys, American military officer in the American Revolution.

Countersigned on verso by Jon Kingsbury, by James Howard on behalf of the company. Also on verso Order 28299 and dated.

H: 5 1/8 W: 6 3/8 in.
