Set of 7 books on lighting and lamps, 19th and 20th century.
Books include: HOWELL, John, and SCHROEDER, Henry, History of the Incandescent Lamp (1927); Moncel, Theodore du, Electric Lighting (1882, first english edition translated by ROUTLEDGE, Robert); ATKINSON, Philip, The Elements of Electric Lighting (1889 and 1892, three copies); URQUHART, John, Electric Light (1890 and 1893).

Each book is 8vo, cloth bound, approximately 400 pp., with illustrations and publishers advertisements.

Largest volume is H: 7 1/2 x W: 5 1/4 x D: 1 1/4 in. Fair to poor. Toning, foxing, and browning throughout. Heads and tails of spines scuffed, bumped, and rubbed. Corners bumped and rubbed, with slight losses. URQUHART 1893 edition has split spine at 193 pp. HOWELL has inscription, complimentary author's copy to "Dr. Elihu Thomson" (1853-1937). Other ink and pencil inscriptions and annotations.
